Our seasonal winter concept, an intimate, elegant table within the historic stone walls of the Convento, warmed by the fireplace and candlelight.
The season
Magnolia opens for the cold months, when the estate draws inward and the dining room glows. Within the monastery's stone walls, a fire lit and candles burning, it is a place for unhurried lunches and long winter dinners, the quiet luxury of a single, well-laid table.
The tree
The restaurant takes its name from the centuries-old magnolia tree just outside, a protected landmark that has witnessed the many chapters of the Convento's history. Its presence lends a sense of continuity and quiet grandeur to every meal beneath it.
A tree that has watched eight hundred years pass, still flowering each spring.

The table
The menu is inspired by the traditions of our monks and the produce of our horta, showcasing seasonal, farm-to-table ingredients with a refined contemporary twist by our chef. Dishes are crafted for sharing and thoughtfully paired with wines, celebrating the very best of the season in every bite.
